February 9th

I caught them snoozing in my spot when I couldn't sleep last night. Notice Olive the butt snuggler strikes again.

Jolene gets the lickin fits sometimes. It's really annoying.

I should have bought this towel at Kohl's, but even at 60% off, it was still 8 bucks. Maybe there will be some left after Valentines.

Angry Heidi ...

Sleepy flying Heidi!

February 8th

Took Lylah to the Dog Park. It's been a long time since I've taken her anywhere, and she really enjoyed it. She's a loner, she doesn't care for other dogs, but there were lots of new things to sniff and she had a great time. She slept in the truck the whole way home. Orson didn't get to come because he's a little rough with other dogs.

And this is how I end up having to watch TV every single night. What you can't see is Amigo hanging out on the right side of Heidi, but there was so much cat I couldn't get a picture with them all.

February 7th

Good morning, Lenny!

February 6th

Olive's super secret snuggles!

So, I realize those of you who read this probably don't think it's funny. But I find it hilarious. Olive is rarely seen in day to day life. She has a few spots to snooze by herself, she has her mouse graveyard, and she doesn't like to be the center of attention. She likes to lurk. In the shadows. She's a talker, but only when you're not doing something she thinks you should be doing, such as going to bed. If one person is in bed, she thinks both people need to be. So, when we find her cuddling, it's not because the other cat wants her there, it's because Olive thinks the other cat needs someone to sleep with. And it's hilarious.

February 5th

Amigo has a really soft kitteh belleh. He's also gigantic and doesn't know how to snooze in his favorite chair properly.

A typical Tuesday night. I bring out clean clothes to fold, and the cats bring out the nap times. How many cats can you see? Also, the butt snuggler's super secret attack.

February 4th

Spotted at HEB.

Finished a quilt top. I like it, but at the same time I'm pissed at myself for not just doing what my gut told me at the beginning. I would have finished it months ago had I not wasted time with the instructions that came with it, and just pieced it logically. I certainly won't be taking any more classes at that shop anymore.

February 3rd

Today was our last day with Norma. Tomorrow, we take her up to PetsMart to get some facetime and hopefully move up her adoption. She was such a sweet kitty, and by far easier to deal with that our residents.

Heidi really likes snoozing on my pillow. She had a seizure today, and she tends to always find something that smells like me to snooze after one. I think it comforts her.

Here's Olive again demanding attention. I call it force cuddling. She'll just walk up to someone and sneak her way into getting attention. Or she'll just flop down on them as close as she can like she's been laying there the whole time.
