January 4th

Lenny likes to yell at me when I pay too much attention to the internet.

Lenny and Amigo enjoy drinking out of the sink at the same time. At least they are getting along now.

January 3rd

Olive's favorite spot to sleep is in the window. I rarely get photos of her because she's so skiddish, but I was very very sneaky today.

And here you can see tubby Heidi Britches trying to smother the husband. Apparently this was the best place to sleep while watching tv.

January 2nd

Lenny made out like a bandit at Christmas. Actually all the cats did. I'm pretty sure Santa likes our animals better than us. Lenny and Amigo were especially fond of the catnip toys, but naps were had and snores were abundant. 

January 1st

Well, it looks like we started off 2013 with a brand new cat to the mix. Meet Amigo. He was a friend's cat, and my husband's roommate in college. He's had a great life but he's getting up there in years. He lived with big dogs most of his life, but they were playing a little too rough, so on Christmas when we stopped by to see our friend, Amigo hitched a ride from Moore, OK all the way home with us. He now lives with 4 other kitties, 2 of them senior like him, and he seems to be fitting in just dandy. Welcome aboard, Amigo!
